The magic of a dream.

Since 1984, Dreams Come True has fulfilled the dreams of more than 3,000 children battling life-threatening illnesses in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. Each dream filled is planned especially for that child. No one dream is a-like, but all generate the same outcome – hope and unforgettable memories.

Many medical professionals have attested that a dream dramatically impacts a child’s attitude. Often, it strengthens a child’s determination to undergo difficult treatment.

Our children’s dreams are as diverse as their diagnoses. Whether it is hugging a beloved celebrity, surfing beaches in picturesque islands, swimming with the dolphins, shopping at favorite stores, sailing the high seas aboard cruise ships or meeting sports heroes, each child’s dream is extraordinarily special.

The majority of our youngsters yearn for a trip to Walt Disney World.  Every child should experience the magical worlds of Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. In addition, other Orlando attractions include Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Sea World. An escape to a fantasy world for six days of captivating thrills with all expenses paid is the perfect respite away from the battles of chemotherapy and radiation.

These are just some of the joys expressed to Dreams Come True by families following their dream trips:

“Thank you so much for making Caden’s dream come true. He had a great time and made memories he will never forget. His eyes were shining from the moment we left for the airport to fly to New York! I cannot thank you enough for the tears of joy I had during this trip. Things happen in life that change everything in an instant. You have to persevere. Thank you for what you have done for Caden and for us as a family!”
