Our children’s dreams are as diverse as their diagnoses. Whether it is hugging a beloved celebrity, surfing beaches in picturesque islands, swimming with the dolphins, shopping at favorite stores, sailing the high seas aboard cruise ships or meeting sports heroes, each child’s dream is extraordinarily special. Since 1984, Dreams Come True has fulfilled the dreams of more than 3,000 children battling life-threatening illnesses in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia…More Info

Companies and individuals participate in this wonderful program where they are matched with a dream family to provide the dreamer and their siblings with some of the gifts they may need or want during the holiday season. The first step of this program is to collect the dreamers’ and siblings’ wish lists and then distribute those to the company or individual who would like to sponsor a dream family. This opportunity is solely for the dream child and immediate brothers and sisters. It is at the discretion of the company or individual sponsoring a dreamer should they wish to purchase a gift for the parents.

The wish lists usually include clothing, movies/DVDs, CDs, shoes, toys, games, art supplies, stuffed animals of the child’s favorite character, etc. The dream families are informed that the child may not get everything on his or her list. The list simply is a guideline. Generally, the gifts are delivered to the Dreams Come True office by the company or individual sponsor, and pick-up is arranged with the dream family upon delivery. This program concludes mid-December.
